Hoops Capital
Hoops Capital is a basketball enterprise home to Sydney’s two professional basketball teams, the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames, plus pathway programs including Hoops Capital Academy, Harvey Norman Future Flames and Kings and Flames Youth League.
We also operate facilities in Sydney including Hoops Capital East and Hoops Park.
TreeArc is the majority owner of Hoops Capital working closely with the ownership group consisting of Andrew Bogut, Luc Longley, Paul Smith and Paul Kind.
WNBL
Founded in 1981, the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) is Australia’s longest-running elite women’s sporting competition and a proven pathway for world-class talent, producing globally recognised stars.
The league has also played a significant role in Australia’s sustained international success, with Olympic and FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup medal-winning teams featuring generations of WNBL talent.
Since 2025, TreeArc is the majority owner of the WNBL alongside the NBL Group and Basketball Australia to spearhead growth across attendance, broadcast audiences, fan engagement and digital reach.
The league currently features nine teams based in Adelaide, Bendigo, Canberra, Geelong, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Tasmania and Townsville.
